Challenge: The National Product Manager asked for quarterly newsletters that would be sent to distributer representatives and independent pet and aquarium store owners. Since United Pet Group sold through pet product distributors rather than direct to customers, the sales team needed a way to make the company’s products stand out from many different pet product companies.
Solution: For the busy professionals receiving these newsletters, I chose to simplify the features and benefits into bullet points to make it easier for them to skim the text and to know what to promote when discussing products with customers. I also set the item numbers apart from the bullet points to make it easier for them to order the products.
